Laid back domingo

I set a modern day record by sleeping in until 7:45. So many mornings, after waking around 5:30, I just cannot get back to sleep. Our plan was to walk to Soriana to buy, amongst other things, some whole chickens. We both unexpectedly found none in the freezer yesterday when it was time to pull one out to defrost for Sunday dinner.

Mientras a Soriana, encontramos tres pollos perfectos, y compramos poco otras cosas. Hablamos con un hombre de Chelsea, un pueblo cerca de Ottawa al otra lado del rio Ottawa. Le ayudamos a comprar mantequilla, estando certos que no compra lo que es hecho en Mexico. Esto es más differente de lo que compra en Ottawa. Hablamos tambien por diez minutos sobre algo otras cosas que el nesecitó.

Después de volver a nuestra casa, preparamos comida por la cena, especialmente el pollo. Lynn llegadé alrededor el cinco menos quince, y la cena fue lista poco más tarde.

Miramos el television después de practicé por una hora con mi guitarra.

While in Soriana, we found three perfect chickens, and we bought little other things. We spoke to a man from Chelsea, a town near Ottawa across the Ottawa River. We help you buy butter, being certain that you do not buy what is made in Mexico. This is more different than what you buy in Ottawa. We also talked for ten minutes about something else he needed.

After returning home, we prepared food for dinner, especially chicken. Lynn arrived around five minus fifteen, and dinner was ready shortly after.

We watched TV after I practiced for an hour with my guitar. ==>

Ooh what a lucky man

As so eloquently put by Emerson, Lake, and Palmer in their 1970s song. I have been lucky so many times in my 74+ years on this planet. Oh my ... how time flies. It seems like only yesterday that it was Wednesday. The place looks like someone is leaving in a few days. The mattress in bedroom #2 has been tood up with the mattress cover side pointing out. The first two kitchen chairs are parked on the cement couch in the L/R. Dominique will ask Paty to drop in after the bridge game Saturday so we can discuss the idiosyncrasies of looking after our place until our return. Doing the extended walk to the end of the canal path past Soris. We will pick up some shredded pork to make sandwiches for the flight(s) on Sunday. We are so close to the end of the line as far as getting the place ready. Other than the Fire TV sticks, the balance of the work involves moving stuff around and covering furniture.
