Ruido, ruido, y más ruido
The thumping noise commenced somewhere a bit later than yesterday morning. They were kind enough to wait until 6:45am today. Public celebrations, or fiestas, are held in honour of Mary, the Virgin of Guadalupe, on December 12. Children are dressed in traditional costumes and are blessed in churches. Thousands of people come to church to pray.
