It was a good night

We headed out for Zihua Bay about 6:15. It took me the usual time to set up. The place was not busy when I started but people started to trickle in shortly after 7pm. A few of the tables were there until the end of my gog. Dominique mentioned she observed a lot of tapping and bogeying to the music which was nice for me to hear.

I jumped around quite a bit during my two sets. When I did Singing in the Rain, someone got up from his table and did some dance steps. When he sat down, I mumbled Keep it up Gene. When I did the theme from the Titanic, someone walking by put his arms straight up in the air at about a 45° away from his body as though he was leaning over the bow if a ship. How coincidental was that?

I felt good about the first set, then took a 20 minute break. The second set breezed by. I know that the more I enjoy a set, the shorter it seems. Must be the same engine that always finds a return trip from point A to point B is quicker than the trip there ... same route exactly.

Rebe wanted to give me a Zihua Bay golf shirt but did not have anything in my size. He though maybe an M would fit. When I was given a SailFest tee a few weeks ago, it was XXL.

Another close to 1,000 pesos for Por Los NiƱos. Dominique at one point suggested I mention the charity where the money was going in English since the gringos in attendance may not understand the Spanish name. Once I did that, the tips flowed in ... yet another brilliant move by by girlie.
