... my dear chica. Accomplished a big deliverable yesterday. We prepared a spreadsheet outlining the expenses from April to November of this year. This allows Dominique to transfer the required mullah to her new account. This will allow Paty to draw from there to cover expenses while we are not in Z.

Back at Zihua Bay for the last hurrah tonight. I have learned three Bread songs since last there. I did not really listen to them when they were big, but some of their songs rang a bell. We have raised close to 5,000 MXN for the Por Los NiƱos charity here in Zihua.

There are a few owners here who are only interested in what they want to do whenever they want to do it with no regard for the effect ot may have on others. Upstairs from us someone had the cleaning jets for their dipping pool on for 2-3 hours yesterday in the evening. The gurgling sound penetrates many floors so we never really know who it is. There were only two units occupied on our side of the building. It stopped fortunately before we crashed. In theory, running them for so long could burn them out ... bring on the burnout.

Progressing with the getting ready activities for April 14 departure. With mention of the prep we did accomplished at the top of this post, we are making massive progress. We have been telling everyone about our stop in Chapala next time we come down to Zihua. Getting from there to Zihua is a challenge as we would possibly take a bus BUT not overnight as we are nervous about how safe that would be.

We walked to the computer store near Leon restaurant. We picked up a black ink cartridge so we have one if and when we run out the last week we are here. Headed next to the market for a few supplies. I was forced at knife point to bu carrot cake and Sabelina bakery. Dominique did not believe that story. Looks like her trip to Intercam bank to finalize creation of her second bank account will wait until tomorrow.

Fish and a salad for dinner tonight ... yummy. I contacted Rebe at ZIhua Bay to ask about the dead end street his place is on. During Semana Santa, the two weeks leading up to Easter, cars were not allowed down that dead end. We were sure it was in anticipation of more people those two weeks and the potential of a raise in pedestrians that could lead to you know what. The ban on cars has been lifted.

We had red snapper for dinner with rice, broccoli, and a salad. The dorado, now out of season, also called Mahi-Mahi, yields steaks up to 1½ inches thick and it has so much body. The red snapper filets are about ½ and they have the body so as not to disintegrate as they are cooked. Most of the time we start the veggies in a uncovered frying pan with oil. About 3-4 minutes of that, turning a few times, then we put in maybe 0½ cup of water and let cook covered for 10-12 minutes.
