With intrepidation

It is with some of this that we will embark on a journey to immigration after the bridge game. The web site that I cannot log in to is, I believe, where I can update my metadata about address, marriage status, and more. I think access to this site is mandatory and I do not want to find the true usage of this site when I am in Ottawa rather than Zihua. We pray that the office will be as not busy today as it was last week when we got the temporary visa para mi.

We are then off to Bodega Aurora to get some as of yet undisclosed goods. I am sure I will be informed when the time is right. If what we end up getting is easily transportable, we will walk back to our place rather than cab it.

We lucked into finding a manual for the remote control for the Carrier air conditioners. I desperately looked for the manual searching for the model number of the unit on the wall. That did not go well. I checked the back of the remote and lo and behold ... a model number. Finding the manual, in English no less, turned out to be easy peasy. Whatever we set the A/C at when we retire (usually start at 23 celsius then move to 26 celsius just before we fall asleep. Whenever one of us happens to be up for a trip you know where in the middle of the night, the A/C is turned off as our room has turned into a fridge.

From the manual, using the timer function looks easy. Like many other tasks using 3rd party product manuals, this could end up baing a mission of complete inability to follow the instructions therein.

We were not alone when we went to immigration (INM). There were 2 pairs of people ahead of us. We only waited about 10 minutes. The agent we had spoken to last week told us the error message from the site we clicked to is meaningless and not to worry about it. Dominique also reminded me that if we need to change any data for the sake of what INM has on file, these changes would only be for something in Mexico. They do not care about any changes done outside of this country, e.g. change of address in Ottawa.
