Different Thursdays

Both Dominique and I do not miss the Thursday evening online bridge game. It was the only evening game we have ever had and the instructor was not available regularly. Especially when in Zihua, we like having this evening to do other things.

She made plans to meet Wanda and John tomorrow afternoon and go to Arcadia, as usual, then off to a newly opened restaurant with good reviews. We picked up the 90 peso whole grain bread today that we ordered yesterday, when down in the market and it is grand. I thought I'd get away with stuffing a plastic bag and putting it in the freezer. What little moisture was on the slices allowed some of them to stick together. I took the whole loaf out of the bag to let it thaw, then used parchment paper around each slice. We got some strawberry jam too so I could have my one of two most favourite foods:

  1. PB&J ... aka peanut butter and jam
  2. Anything someone else makes, as long as it does not have cilantro or eggplant with skin
I like the way we share the meal prep duties though she does more than me. I am watching yet another Brit TV show called Spooks, about MI5 agents and their attempts to keep the country safe. At the same time Dominique is devouring The Darling Buds of May, with none other than a 20 or so version of Catherine Zeta Jones. We had the Italian br___s version of pasta for dinner and it was fab as usual.
