Pretty laid back day

Ran a 5-table bridge game this morning and Dominique did some work on the minutes from the condo meeting she ran Saturday. Hugo sent her the minutes via a shared google doc. I showed her how to edit the document in suggesting mode which ends up highlighting her additions/deletions/modifications. The document is now in Lynn's basket and he will do what he believe needs to be done before it can be sent back to Hugo for final editing and distribution.

When Dominique first saw it, the text was all upper case. Not sure why people do that. We used a web site to convert all of it to sentence case then I went through looking for spots to do some manual capitalization.

We ran into Vito at the 3pm pool event. I explained my plans to bug-proof the sliding doors to the balcony and the one off our bedroom as well. He listened attentively then offered some suggestions about stores we may go to in search for some weatherstripping. They use a brush-based form of this product here ... sticky back, and the part that does the sealing from the weather (or in our case bugs) is like a tooth brush with finer and much more coarse bristles. There are spots on the outside frames of the sliding screen doors as well as similar spots on the moving glass doors (in the living room) and the 2 inch frames of the glass doors in our room where we discussed mounting some weatherstripping.

My plan to extend some vinyl bumpers on the stationery doors in the living room turns out not to be a good idea. The stores in centro he mentioned, build windows and probably sliding glass doors. We will head down there tomorrow and, if we do not find what we are looking for, maybe order from Amazon.

The site where we purchased some internet TV streaming service finally got back to me about some charges to my Mastercard. The vendor asked me for some screenshots of the charges from my last few statements. I provided snippets of the Sep/Oct/Nov changes, masking any private details on each shot. The vendor got back to me and, in my opinion, lied to me so they did not have to refund about $50 CAD. The email I got stated the charges were not theirs and I should discuss with my bank. I will cancel that Mastercard when we are back home, and they will send me a new one.
