Started just after 8am for both of us. My sleeping until that time was a treat considering the days I am up earlier. My gal lounged around like she does so many mornings, busily doing who know what as opposed to me who is doing nada. We walked down to Café Adelitas for breakfast.

Nos quedamos al hogar casi todo el dia. Alrededor el tres, fuemos a la alberca por cuarenta y cinqo minutos. Entonces volveramos a la casa y empecemos a preparar la comida por la cena. Lynn llegé alrederor el cinco menos quince, y disfrutamos hablando con el hasta que la cena estuviera lista.

El pollo fue muy buen, como siempre, ¡especialmente todas las cosas sobre la mesa!. Dominique tuve su reunión con su familia a los seis asi Lynn y yo visitamos hasta que el fue a su casa para mirar futbol.

No he escrito en español en my BLOG tan mucho como lo que tuve más temprano este año. Estudio español estes dias, más que usualmente las meses antes de veniendo a Mexico.

We stayed home most of the day. Around three, we went to the pool for forty five minutes. Then went back to the house and started cooking dinner. Lyn got to five minus fifteen, and we enjoyed talking to him until dinner was ready.

The chicken was very good, as always, ¡especially all things on the table!. Dominique had her family meeting at six, so Lynn and I visited until he went home to watch football.

I haven’t written in Spanish on my BLOG as much as I had earlier this year. I study Spanish these days, more than usually the months before coming to Mexico. ==>

Ooh what a lucky man

As so eloquently put by Emerson, Lake, and Palmer in their 1970s song. I have been lucky so many times in my 74+ years on this planet. Oh my ... how time flies. It seems like only yesterday that it was Wednesday. The place looks like someone is leaving in a few days. The mattress in bedroom #2 has been tood up with the mattress cover side pointing out. The first two kitchen chairs are parked on the cement couch in the L/R. Dominique will ask Paty to drop in after the bridge game Saturday so we can discuss the idiosyncrasies of looking after our place until our return. Doing the extended walk to the end of the canal path past Soris. We will pick up some shredded pork to make sandwiches for the flight(s) on Sunday. We are so close to the end of the line as far as getting the place ready. Other than the Fire TV sticks, the balance of the work involves moving stuff around and covering furniture.
