An Xmas sort of day

Not a normal Christmas day whatsoever. I cannot really quantify "normal" as in my 74+ years I have celebrated this event maybe 30 times. I think I remember doing it with my little ones when they were young. Dominique went to mass at 8am downtown and that was it for our outing today. We worked together on our signature whole chicken in the air fryer. I watched a little bit of NFL.

We watched the 2017 version of Murder on the Orient Express tonight and it was fun. She has seen at least one other make of this book but forgot who was the guilty party. There we many familiar faces in the movie, some of them falling into the I see that face a lot! but do not remember who and where. We also watched Alistair Sim's transformation in A Christmas Carol after finding it on YouTube of all places.

I installed some foam weatherstripping on one of the screen doors in bedroom #2 and finalized a plan on how to finish the rest of the stripping in that room and replicate into our bedroom. Ranae was down for happy hour about 4:30 and I left the two of them alone for a while to discuss girlie stuff. There are a few things about girlie stuff that I have noticed ... mainly most of it I would not understand and how I would not want to understand as it's above my pay grade.

Plans are for her to head off to Soriana with Ranae after the bridge game tomorrow. I had a text with Irving at the guitar store and he is open tomorrow so we will go there for him to get rid of some string buzzing at and past the twelfth fret. I have five more bridge games to do before Colin's coming back on board to share the duties. It has been quite a long period where I have held the fort ... October 16 to January 1 when I am done. We had a game scheduled for today but there were not enough registrations to continue. Odd since we have done Xmas day games many years in the past that were well attended.
