Bridge game as usual to start things off. We had thought of going to Ixtapa to register my CURP number which I got when I obtained my temporary resident visa in October. This stands for Clave Única de Registro de Población, which is used to identify all Mexican citizens and residents be they permanent or temporary. This all got derailed when Dominique, received a call back from a chiropractor/masseuse team who were willing to come over at 2pm for some treatment on her sciatic nerve.

They showed up early at noon ... probably based on the confusion between dos (2) and doce (12). That led to a rush to get prepared for their treatment and postponing of the trip to Intercam bank in Ixtapa.

The work these two ladies did on her lasted 2 hours and she felt the 1,000 pesos was well spent. She has another session with the two of them early afternoon next Friday. We did a whole lot of nothing for the balance of the day until we departed for Arcadia about 4:45pm. We met the usual gang there. We then revisited a restaurant we had been to a few weeks ago and loved the fare as much as our first trip there.

Ooh what a lucky man

As so eloquently put by Emerson, Lake, and Palmer in their 1970s song. I have been lucky so many times in my 74+ years on this planet. Melt the seal ... time is here

Oh my ... how time flies. It seems like only yesterday that it was Wednesday. The place looks like someone is leaving in a few days. The mattress in bedroom #2 has been tood up with the mattress cover side pointing out. The first two kitchen chairs are parked on the cement couch in the L/R. Dominique will ask Paty to drop in after the bridge game Saturday so we can discuss the idiosyncrasies of looking after our place until our return. Doing the extended walk to the end of the canal path past Soris. We will pick up some shredded pork to make sandwiches for the flight(s) on Sunday. We are so close to the end of the line as far as getting the place ready. Other than the Fire TV sticks, the balance of the work involves moving stuff around and covering furniture.
