Long hot summer day

Not complaining, just stating. The humdidity is definitely down and not so concentrated due mainly to the frequent cloud covering. The 8am bridge game was well attended with 12 tables. There were a handful of what used to be referred to as visitors which has been assisting with attendance for many games since registration was opened to anyone as of August 1.

Dominique is interviewing again for the new administrator for our condo. One of the existing candidates withdrew, so that leaves us with one who was interviewed last Saturday over and above the woman they are speaking with now. One of the troublemaker owners was wondering what is going on with that process and they were told it's in progress. These people do nothing but complain at which point my suggested response is always get on the board.

I experienced problems as I my have mentioned with a playlist one of our two streaming services. I had a WhatsApp chat with the someone at TiviMate Pro and was told the URL was changed recently. I tried with the new web addess and, lo and behold, it words again. I have a few words for vendors that accept your money then tell you nothing, I mean nothing, when they make a change that breaks the product for their clients ... here are the words ... *&^$^%&* %^&^% $%*(*^^^&. Translated into something understandable, that means ̶ ̶ ̶ ̶ ̶ ̶ ̶ ̶ ̶ ̶ ̶ yourselves.

We will have dinner here tonight then, if Dominique still is into it, walk down to the main beach where Daniel's is located and listen to a duo we are fond of - Angel y Hector. Their gringo repertoire is our cup of tea and we enjoy Angel's solos.

Ooh what a lucky man

As so eloquently put by Emerson, Lake, and Palmer in their 1970s song. I have been lucky so many times in my 74+ years on this planet. Melt the seal ... time is here

Oh my ... how time flies. It seems like only yesterday that it was Wednesday. The place looks like someone is leaving in a few days. The mattress in bedroom #2 has been tood up with the mattress cover side pointing out. The first two kitchen chairs are parked on the cement couch in the L/R. Dominique will ask Paty to drop in after the bridge game Saturday so we can discuss the idiosyncrasies of looking after our place until our return. Doing the extended walk to the end of the canal path past Soris. We will pick up some shredded pork to make sandwiches for the flight(s) on Sunday. We are so close to the end of the line as far as getting the place ready. Other than the Fire TV sticks, the balance of the work involves moving stuff around and covering furniture.
