The waiting game

We will chat with Sigi about our going out after bridge, in case the guy wants to come today to do the pending work on the glass sliding doors. 2FA is broken at RBC for the fifth day in a row. We know that Thankgiving in the US and Christmas in Canada are these two countries' busiest days/times of the year. Another we really don't give a s__t about you trick from RBC.

We will ask Sigi to call us when/if he has an idea of when the guy may be arriving today. We are not optimistic about its happening today but we may be surprised.

En medio de estudiar con mi comprensión español, la cosa que está la más importante por esto gringo. Acabo de encontradar dos sitios sobre el web donde puedo leer texto entonces respuestar unas preguntas. El primer sitio es buen sito a empezar porque las historias estan muy pequeñas. Transcribó los textos a voco humano usando un sitio que se llama FreeTTS. He utilizado este sitio por casi dos años y no he gastado muchos dineros ahi.

Escucho cada pasaje unas vecas entonces, cuando tengo confianzo que estoy listo a respuestar a las preguntas, va ahi para hacerlo. Si no tengo confianzo, escucho otra vez mientras leer antes de ir al sitio.

El Navidad esto muy cerca y puedo solamente me pregunta como las niños cómo se sienten al llegar el día.

In the midst of studying with my understanding of Spanish, the thing that is the most important for this gringo. I just found two places on the web where I can read text then answer some questions. The first site is a good place to start because the stories are very small. He transcribed the texts in human speech using a site called FreeTTS. I have used this site for almost two years and I have not spent much money there.

I listen to each passage a few times so, when I'm confident I'm ready to answer the questions, it goes there to do so. If I don't have confidence, I listen again while reading before going to the site.

Christmas is very close and I can only wonder how the children may feel  feel when the day arrives. ==>

Back from the market. The onions in most places were small and grungy. We found some a reasonable size finally but not as large as we are used to. We got some fish as well as veggies then cabbed home. Letty is dropping in at 4pm as she has prepped the taking in of a number of my shorts and wants to confirm her measurements are fine before she does the sewing.

Time for another problem with RBC. They're sweet 2FA for me is broken and I have to use one of the minimally secure security questions. I spoke yo Bob at RBC and it works fine for him ... I think they have added some code to their intake module to annoy one and only one client. I had the audacity to lodge a complaint a while back, from which my one and only response from them was The ticket is now closed.

Oh my ... how time flies. It seems like only yesterday that it was Wednesday. The place looks like someone is leaving in a few days. The mattress in bedroom #2 has been tood up with the mattress cover side pointing out. The first two kitchen chairs are parked on the cement couch in the L/R. Dominique will ask Paty to drop in after the bridge game Saturday so we can discuss the idiosyncrasies of looking after our place until our return. Doing the extended walk to the end of the canal path past Soris. We will pick up some shredded pork to make sandwiches for the flight(s) on Sunday. We are so close to the end of the line as far as getting the place ready. Other than the Fire TV sticks, the balance of the work involves moving stuff around and covering furniture.
