Hazy day

It looks like it could rain, a rare occurrence here outside of the supposed rainy season. I am feeling a little punk. Ranae and Lynn experienced flu-like symptoms for a day or so and then they disappeared. There's lots of info out there about geh 24-hour flu, portions of sites contradicting one another. Welcome to the internot.

We are heading off to Pepe Guitar and will leave my Norte ax there for Irving to attach the inout hardware to the strap peg at the bottom of the guitar. I am not sure what else we will do while out, though I believe we need a few supplies for the pending chicken soup we will make for dinner. We need a carrot or two and maybe celery. We have lots of onions and some frozen corn. We deliberately cooked one of our smaller chickens for dinner last night but still have lots of leftovers for the soup.

We turned on the partial rebate program at our online bridge club today. I posted a document with the details of how it will work. We bought a premium service from a bridge vendor somewhere in the US which makes reporting on who attended a game easy to encapsulate. After each game I will run a report and zero in on who may have played with a first time player and transfer $2 USD to that person.

We got to Pepe Guitar about 10:45 and he was closed. I had a set of WhatsApp messages with him and it turned out he was down the street having coffee. We went to meet him and had one ourselves. It's his birthday today so when we pick up my guitar tomorrow, we will tack on some vodka money, his beverage of choice.

Dominique is not playing bridge tomorrow as she, Hugo, and Lynn are going to meet with the notary to discuss the pending AGM just over three weeks from now. Owners here have been asked to provide a photocopy of page one of the title to their unit. They need to do that so the notary can validate what is on that document. We believe there will be some surprises as a number of units here are in one person's name, that person's spouse not on the deed. Anyone who has not submitted the required by February 10 will not be able to vote, give a proxy to someone else, or even speak at the meeting. Should be interesting if someone shows up, not having done what is required and by the 10th, and is told about restrictions at the meeting. To allow teh notary to do his job, he needs at least five business days to do what he needs to do.
