Not much ado about nothing
The schedule today was wide open. Dominique had a meeting at 9:30am to go over the budget with a few others, including Hugo (the Administrator), Lynn, and Paul who is also on the board. Two other owners where scheduled to show up. One of them was a no show, not having the courtesy to inform the others of his non-attendance. The one that did show was not at the meeting for long as he is a nasty type who left before he got the boot. There were a lot of fword offerings by this childish owner. They were better off without this nuisance and am sure they got more accomplished without rather than with his presence.
When she was back and grabbed a bite, we headed out for two errands. The first stop was a hardware store for AAA. AA, and one D battery. We then headed over to Pepe Guitar and I bought two sets of strings and a string winder. Dominique mentioned that, had she known I had "lost" the winder I already had, she probably would have been able to locate it.
She is watching House Hunters International on my Mac and I am buried in a hockey game between Winnipeg and Boston. I did some work today collecting/updating the list of players at our online bridge club in prep for taking the rebate program into fruition after a final catch up with Colin as the owner of the club.
Our dear friend Marianna is in town from Florida and we will see her on Saturday evening for dinner alongside Bernie and Patsy. B&P leave next Sunday after just under three weeks here. Another friend Nancy is in from Long Island with a friend and she is also on our list of people to catch up with.
