D-day maybe

The wreckoning hour approaches ... yes there is no such word, but the future of the condominium building/association rests on the shoulders of the pending AGM We will have to come to grips of the fringe taking over the management of the grounds or the sane side of the owners not allowing the building and grounds to be wrecked. There have been ongoing discussions about how to proceed at today's meeting.

Ben and Crem are heading back to Toronto early afternoon. It has been quite a rush having them here. They face the enormous task of moving from their separate places to one in the same alongside Maddie and Isaac. Some of the characteristics of their new abode excite the little ones. They have hired a mover that will do the packing as well which should partially diminish an daunting task.

The outcome of the AGM today, if it indeed transpires, hopefully will allow the likes of Dominique, Ranae, and Lynn some well deserved peace and quiet. This is supposed to be a restful and pleasurable time in Zihua but due to the turmoil caused by the fringe, often it has been anything (everything?) but that. Not totally, but enough to sour many days since our October 10 arrival. Tomorrow marks four weeks left in this lovely burg.

Still cannot get over the volume of attendees at Zihua Bay last night. I plugged the charity we raise funds for many times. With so many people there, a take of about 390 pesos was disappointing.

The AGM did not happen as they did not have quorum. Dominique is attending a meeting shortly in Leo's unit with the gang to discuss strategy I would imagine for tomorrow's planned get together.

Once upon a time there was a little boy named Wallace. He was quite caught up in himself ... even though he was in his 50s, he was a little boy based on his outlook on life. He insisted on doing whatever he wanted wherever and whenever he wanted, regardless of whether it made sense to anyone around him. Wallace once decided to attend a meeting and whenever something came up that he did not like, he objected and spouted one law after another. He finally met his match one day when at a meeting. Someone disagreed with him and spouted laws to shoot down what Wallace was proposing. Wallace took his toys and went home. Reminds me of the saying ... whatever goes around comes around. Normal disclaimers apply ...  any resemblances to any person living or dead is purely coincidental.

Tomorrow's meeting is again at 9:30am. This time, quorum becomes 51% of the owners rather than today's 75%. And now the $64,000 question ... guess who just arrived:

  1. The mayor of Zihua
  2. Paul McArtney
  3. Joni Mitchell
  4. Carol King
  5. Ranae Rahn
If you guessed #5, brilliant ... she has been here today more than the last 3 weeks together. I'm not complaining ...
