D-day minus 2

Closer and closer each day. We had a lovely stew for dinner yesterday with Lynn and Ranae. Dominique is off to Lilly's for a trim this morning at 9:30. I have been trying to schedule an appointment with my ENT guy for sometime after our return in mid-April. We have been back and forth with messages for 10 days or so. The last one I left for the office asked (again) for an appointment ANY Wednesday after April 15. The office has left me voice messages alongside mine telling me to call back. This time I mentioned (again) that I am out of the country until April 14. I do not know why they just can't pick any Wednesday, as I requested, and leave a message on my Ottawa cell with the appointment details.

Headed down to meet Dominique as she finished her appointment at Lilly's. We walked to a laundry place and left one of our mattress covers there to be picked up on Wednesday after 2pm. We then headed into centro as I wanted to stop at immigration to ask them a question. I was curious if the visa renewal I will need to do in October must be done in Zihua or can it be done at any office even in another state. I was told that since the address they have is in Zihua, I must do it here.

We then walked around town a bit and ended up at Lopez office store. We got some shrink wrap, bubble wrap, masking tape, elastic bands, and packing tape, all of which should be useful in our pending shut down of the pad in Zihua until the fall. Not much else for the balance of the day. Dominique has a board handover meeting at 6pm then 'twill be a normal evening in unit B2.

Bridge then who knows what else in the morning. She is making veggie-based noddles to accompany the chicken and broccoli for dinner. It's also laundry day at B2.

Speaking of my enjoyment watching snooker ... the expression snookered means finding yourself in a position when it's your turn and there really is not shot available for you. I watched a video on YouTube that showed some of the best snookers on record. Picture the one showing below which was featured in that video. The white (cue ball) is parked between the hole and the pink ball and there are still reds on the table. And yes they are touching one another ... beauty! For readers not familiar with snooker, the whole game involves launching the cue ball into other balls in order to get the other ball in a pocket.
