Special day in Z

There must have been something extraordinary about the time the music had to stop on the main beach. Dominique mentioned that a few years ago that the neighbours close to the beach complained to the city about the hour that music is supposed to stop. She believes they agreed on 10 or 11pm. Anyhow, last night they were still going well after 11pm. With the windows partially open in out bedroom we can still "enjoy" the ruckus as if it were closer than it actually is.

Ranae knocked on the door just before they went down to Plaza Kioto to see the parade. We were too drained to go with them. Dominique looked at some pictures Dianna took and it looks like we missed quite a spectacle. The locals make these extravagant costumes and floats where the main ingredients are paper maché and ingenuity. The little ones in particular are so creative.

We are completing the upload of 2023 tax-related documents for our tax lady to process both our returns. There is a slight "complication" based on some additional income Dominique declared in the 2022 return and must be included in 2023.

Hoping we can head out later for our around the town walk ... Calle Adelita, Playa Principal, Cinco de Mayo, Maria Moreles, Paséo del Palmar, Ortiz del Dominguez, Adelita, and back home. This puts on close to four kilometres which is a nice outing.

The walk was ideal with a stop in the market for a few veggies. You will never guess who is here visiting with Dominique now! None other than ... tada ... Ranae. We have figured the number crunching for the possible relocation in 2025 to one of two towns in the state of Jalisco which is north and west of Mexico City and some 50km or so from Guadalajara. This city is the 7th largest city in Mexico checking in at about 1.37 million.

It's pork chops for dinner tonight with a nice compote of veggies hecho para mi chica. We look forward to more episodes of Cold Feet tonight. Bridge in the morning then Dominique is getting her teeth cleaned by Dr. Judith at 11. 1pm is the party for Hugo's birfday and we cannot wait to give him the Hugo Boss t-shirt. That was my brainstorm last year ... his name Hugo and he has been the Boss of the building for many years.

Watched a few more episodes of Cold Feet. We were confused at the start of season five as 15 or so years were skipped and all the kids that were very young at the end of season four were in their teens.Anyhew ... 'twas quite fun as usual.

Busy day tomorrow for mi chica what with bridge, dentist appointment, then Hugo's birfday gathering. I test drove the IPTV service that Ben is using called IPTVDojo and it works fine here. I picked up another IPTV software called IPTV Smarters and Dojo works fine on it, When our subscriptions run out on the two services we currently have, we will pick up a 12 month subscription for two concurrent connections.
