The meeting Dominique went to took 40 minutes. Wallace was not there as were none of his buddies. We went to Maderas on the beach with Lynn and Ranae for sustenance and beverages. I am playing bridge at 4pm and she has her fam jam at 5. Everything that needed to be done was done in 40 minutes. It is well minuted that the fringe walked out of Saturday's meeting before it ended and did not show for today's closing piece.

Played bridge online late this afternoon and had a lovely time. Ended up in the low to mid-fifties as a percentage so may make some MPs. The snacks we had at Maderas today led to the pork chop dinner being put off until tomorrow.

Tomorrow is yet another holiday in Mexico and it seems within the 52 Mondays every year that all 53 of them are some sort of special day. Madera beach was not that crowded like some long weekends. Dominique reminded me that the crowds now will be smaller since coolers were banned on the beach last year. The city got tired of the garbage left around by people and it's these peoples' fault the new rule was made. It is also these people who probably complained to the city the most about the ban ...

As so eloquently put by Emerson, Lake, and Palmer in their 1970s song. I have been lucky so many times in my 74+ years on this planet. Oh my ... how time flies. It seems like only yesterday that it was Wednesday. The place looks like someone is leaving in a few days. The mattress in bedroom #2 has been tood up with the mattress cover side pointing out. The first two kitchen chairs are parked on the cement couch in the L/R. Dominique will ask Paty to drop in after the bridge game Saturday so we can discuss the idiosyncrasies of looking after our place until our return. Doing the extended walk to the end of the canal path past Soris. We will pick up some shredded pork to make sandwiches for the flight(s) on Sunday. We are so close to the end of the line as far as getting the place ready. Other than the Fire TV sticks, the balance of the work involves moving stuff around and covering furniture.
