'Twas quit a week
The kids are back in TO safe and sound. We had a lovely time at Kris and Paul's abode for dinner last night with Lynn and Ranae as well. There was a discussion about considering converting the empty room on the bottom level to a guest suite. Dominique was not aware that there were two bathrooms down there across from the room. We went on a tour. She was surprised that after seven years here, she had not known about their existence! We discussed how the room could be set up and how there could be a damage deposit for unforeseen problems with the room. The discussion headed towards the owner whose guests were using the room would be responsible for providing all the assorted accoutrements. As well we discussed having a queen bed frame there and the owner would have to supply a blowup mattress. Very preliminary ...
AGM attempt #3 for Dominique at 9:30 today. We are desperate to walk somewhere today as we have not been out of the complex for the last two days except for her trip to Soris on Thursday. Wonder if Wallace will experience the same fate as he did in my short story posted yesterday.
The meeting wrapped up in a mere 3½ hours and my girlie was worn out. A while after she got home she went to meet Ranae to discuss the plans for tomorrow. That is what is supposed to be the last portion of the AGM. This is the longest meeting ever having started on February 17 and still going on March 16, not to end until tomorrow.
She is chatting with Dianna of Donny and fame. They leave for home in very late March. We will see them at least once before their departure. The pool was very busy today as it usually is when there are lots of renters. I have spent more time crunching the numbers about other places to stay in Mexico and the goods and bads of renting this place in Z.
We did not get out today but hope to do something tomorrow. We will meet at Doña Licha after her church service finishes at 10:15 or so. Not sure what else we will be able to do what with the noon meeting of the AGM wrapup (ya right). We will celebrate Hugo's birfday on Tuesday upstairs in Renae's place. We got him a Hugo Boss t-shirt, appropriate as he was/is the "boss" of this condo pretty much ever since it opened in 2017.
Had a lovely dinner of leftovers then watched the telly. Three episodes of that fab Brit comedy called Cold Feet. Then I watched the inside of my eyelids as she watched an episode of M*A*S*H.
