Week before time change
Sunday the 10th Ottawa switches to daylight savings time. As we all know many geographic locations have opted out of switching twice a year. Why? Politicians who know absolutely nothing about anything have decided this. In some cases that decision may have been driven by facts, but not many. Thus, the 9am eastern games we run will start at 7am here rather than 8am. As well, when we are out west in June, when in Comox the games will start at 6am, Calgary at 7am, and Saskaton at 8am. I will form out some games the days I am travelling which will be Thu Jun 20 and Sat June 29.
We did a lot of nothing except for her attendance at church at 9am and what follows. After church, I met Dominique and Maryanna at Maderas for breakfast. Dianna showed up and sat with us for the duration. We remained there chatting and giggling for three hours after we ate. The chit chat was fun naturally. Maryanna is leaving Z this coming Wednesday so this may have been our last hang with her until next year.
On our way home from Maderas we ran into none other than Lynn and Ranae. They asked if we wanted to join them at Maderas for a margarita. The answer to that question can only be YES, in peril of consequences if one were to answer NO. We hung with them for another two hours then headed home.
We popped the bird in the air fryer with plans to eat after Dominique's fam fam at 6pm. She was a little late in signing in and there was nobody there. The feast on chicken was fab as usual. She has plans to be up early tomorrow as she has an AGM planning meeting with a few mid-morning. She has some prep to do.
