Wonderful Wednesday

The sun is shining unlike the sky yesterday and many days as of late. The temperature yesterday and overnight must have been not much about 65° F. I wore a tshirt with sleeves which I have, since October 10, only done when I gig at Zihua Bay. We prepped the house for the arrival of Juanita to clean somewhere around 11:15 this morning.

I put the final touches on a spreadsheet we can use to view the various scenarios of renting out Zihua and staying in Chapala or Ajijic. The more traditional look of the former as well as the reported cheaper house rentals has, for now, brought it to our number one choice. When we spend 4-6 days there on our way to Zihua in October, we will be able to ascertain the facts about each. Another thing to consider is the elevation. They are at about 5,000 feet or 1,500 metres. When I was 60, rather than 74, my stay in Addis Abeba at 10,000 feet was not an issue. Should be interesting to see if those 14 years and ½ the elevation have an effect on my tolerance of higher places.

Ramping up to the weekend of Semana Santa should be interesting. Dominique tells me it is more revered than even the Xmas weeks.
